Reporting an error in the science

Please include:

• the object and the statement or value you think is wrong;
• the link to the view (the Share button copies it) and the date shown in the model;
• what you expected, and the source for it: a catalogue entry, a paper or an agency page.

Reporting a fault

Please include the link to the view, what you did, what happened, your device and browser, and the version shown at the bottom of the About panel in the explorer.

Use the same address. See Privacy for what the site does and does not hold.

A note on shared links

A link copied in Sky view contains the observing latitude and longitude to four decimal places. If that is your home, think before posting the link publicly or sending it to us; rounding the numbers in the link is enough for us to reproduce a view.
